I have to admit this was my first thought after seeing the opening of this Guardian piece

The article ends rather abruptly, which I assume is for legal reasons preventing them from making inferences.
In his case, of course, it’s not for anything like humanitarian or rational geopolitical reasons, it’s to do with his power and popularity (or the diminution thereof). But yup, when he’s right he’s right.

There was some NYC business guy who described working with Trump. The gist of it was at some point Trump will start screaming at you out of the blue about burying you in lawsuits and ruining you. What happened? How could this be the same guy who was so friendly, buying you dinner at Per Se? Its the Bad Trump, part of the Art of the Deal where he uses his leverage, keeps his opponent off-balance. This is not gonna work with Netenyahu, to put it mildly.
