In 1971-72, I was on the southwest coast of Iceland. There were gale-force winds several times. But everything that could blow away had already blown away. We'd get snowstorms immediately followed by rainstorms. Once the temperature got to a record high of 59°F.

The rock/bushes/edging is very much typical of the Front Range Colorado urban corridor; was the AI guessing, or did it have some location information?
It does use general and specific information from outside the images it processes. And it just flat-out guesses a lot.
I gave it a Monet painting to interpret. The result was startling. I thought there was no possible way it could create the result just from the image of the painting I gave it.
I asked for and got an explanation. Here's the interpretation and explanation.

"Matt Welch visits Getty House for a one-on-one with Los Angeles mayor Karen Bass on the fires, ICE, Trump/Mamdani, Angela Davis/Cuba, and a whole lotta disagreement about the relationship between property rights & building new stuff."
"American culture is diverse, shaped by history, immigration, and regional differences, but several core tenets recur across sources like sociological studies (e.g., Hofstede's cultural dimensions), historical analyses (e.g., Tocqueville's Democracy in America), and contemporary surveys (e.g., Pew Research on American values). These are not universal—exceptions and debates exist—but they form a widely recognized foundation." Core Tenets of American Culture
I live in blue part of blue MA, and the whole giant American and/or Confederate flag flying off the back of a pickup with Eric Church or similar blasting is all over the place here.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — After being snubbed for the Nobel Peace Prize, sources close to President Donald Trump revealed that he had not yet given up hope that he could win a Nobel Prize in Literature for his latest Truth Social post.
"I'm the only president that uses Truth Social, did you know that? The only one," Trump said. "And I've got some real bangers, let me tell you. Take this most recent one about China. I really scorched those Chinamen. It's a long post. Did you see it? It was almost like writing a book. It was really something." The true measure of taxes is government spending. The portion not covered by taxes will still come out of our pockets.

There are far fewer men who self-identify as Neanderthal than there are women who claim that they're married to one.

What is “American culture”?
Here are some of the basics.
